Wecome to the forum - but so sorry you have RA and have had such an adventure with it recently. I pray that the correct treatment to bring relief will soon be found.

I'm 67, married to Steve with one daughter, son-in-law, 2 beautilful grandchildren and 2 mad cats!!

Look forward to getting to know you and NEVER apologise for getting things off your chest - that's what the forum is for!!

Hi Shahida,

Welcome from me too. Am sorry to hear that you haven't found the right drug combination yet. I have had RA for nearly 4 years - was fine for a good while on methotrexate but am struggling again and might be about to embark on the anti-tnf adventure. I'm 46 - no mad pets but a mad partner of 25 years! We have an 8 year old son who keeps me busy.

Jean said the same to me when I joined the forum and I nearly cried. I've been on the forum nearly every day since I joined and people have been so kind, supportive and helpful. Do let us know how you are doing.

I'm so glad you joined the Forum.
But sorry to hear of your Flare up in Holland!
I am Fiona, 53, and I have had R.A for 15 years now.
My medication is Hydroxychloroquine Sulphate and
luckily for me, has kept the worst at bay for many years.
I have 3 Adult kids in their 30's and a Grandaughter of 9.
I do have flare ups sometimes, as I did for a couple of days
last week - my knees were sore and stiff, but I also had a
virus so I think the R.A decided to join in too!
I am looking forward to reading your posts.

I'm Kelly 40 , had Ra for 9 years now being controlled very well on Humira. I do hope you can find the meds to suit you. Look forward to hearing more from you..
